Welcome to Wristies! I'm Rogan Sturrock, the creator behind the platform, which has been my passion project for the past few years.

My journey with Wristies began when I was in search of my first watch. As I navigated through various dealer websites and Facebook groups, I quickly realised how time consuming the process could be. I looked for a centralised platform that could simplify the experience of exploring Australia’s diverse watch market. At the time however, such a platform didn’t exist.

With the unexpected downtime brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself with a some extra time on my hands. It was then that I decided to take matters into my own hands and begin building the solution I had been searching for.

While I don't engage in the buying or selling of watches personally, I'm committed to fostering connections between buyers and sellers. Despite the irony of adding yet another platform to the mix, I sincerely hope that Wristies proves to be a helpful resource for its users.

As time permits, I hope to expand the site and introduce new features that not only benefit our dealers across the country but also create a welcoming space for watch enthusiasts to connect and transact.
