Omega Speedmaster Reduced 175.0032 - 1989

Omega Speedmaster Reduced 175.0032 Released in the late 80's, the 175.0032 came in multiple variations but the one we have here is a personal favourite. Featuring a steel case in 39mm, it's what is known as the Reduced case and offered a smaller size that was more wearable for a lot of folks compared with the 42mm of the Speedy Pro. It's topped with a steel bezel with black aluminium insert and silvered tachy scale. Within this bezel lies a white dial with applied indices, and black hands for the hours, minutes, chrono seconds and all sub-dials which looks amazing against the stark white of the dial. There's just something about Speedy's with black hands... Powering it is an Omega Cal. 1140, which is an ETA 2890-2 with a vertical clutch chronograph module added. The dial itself is in fantastic condition, with no visible signs of wear. The case is in lovely condition, with sharp lines and strong finishes. Signs of wear commensurate with its age in the form of scratches and a few very small dings, though nothing large. Plexi shows some scratches. It's mounted to an aftermarket racing-style leather strap with aftermarket buckle. Service history is unknown. Winds very smoothly, and pusher action is crisp. Currently keeping COSC time at high 200's amplitude measured dial-up on a timegrapher. All functions operating as they should. No box or papers. Comes with Watch Vault cleaning cloth, Watch Vault travel case and spare aftermarket strap.
