Rolex GMT-Master II Coke 16710 D-Serial These Rolex GMT's needs very little introduction. The 16710 was the last of the pre-ceramic GMT's, and strikes a perfect balance between classical proportions and modern reliability. This particular example dates from 2005 and presents in excellent neo-vintage condition. Case shows minor scratches and light marks, but nothing large or deep. Brushed surfaces show some rub marks. Case back shows rub marks and scratches. Would have been polished in the past, but lugs are even with clear stampings between them. Gloss dial is in superb condition showing little if any wear, with matching factory hands. Coke bezel insert was replaced by Rolex in 2012, along with the crystal. Shows a nice fade on the red portion, with minor marks present. See images for full condition details. Bracelet is a 78790A with solid endlinks. Bracelet has 11 links, and the date code is MA which correlates to a 2005 production, indicating it is likely original to the watch. Apparently serviced by previous retailer in 2018. Keeping COSC time at 300+ degrees of amplitude measured dial-up on a timegrapher. Includes outer box (shows staining), inner box, punched and dated papers (expired), booklet, booklet holder, and partial service receipt from Rolex Hong Kong. This is a truly excellent example of Rolex neo-vintage perfection.
