Grand Seiko Heritage Collection SLGH013 - 2023

Grand Seiko Heritage Collection SLGH013 Introduced in 2022, the SLGH013 utilises the modern interpretation of Grand Seiko's most famous case, the 44GS. The proportions are phenomenal, and the use of Ever-Brilliant steel, a hard-wearing alloy that is hailed as the worlds most corrosion resistant steel, makes it all the more special. It features a whiter colouring than usually seen in steel, something more along the lines of white gold, which helps accentuate the beauty of the 44GS case. Housed within this 40mm steel case is the absolutely spectacular light blue Snowflake dial, which looks amazing in photos, and even better in person. Powering it is the new 9SA5 Hi-Beat movement with 80 hour power reserve, and allows for a thickness of 11.6mm even with automatic winding. Finishing levels on the movement are now even better, and the skeletonization of the rotor allows for a better view beneath. This particular example was first sold locally in August 2023 and presents in TZ 'Near Mint' condition, with only light signs of wear. The broad, polished lugs show swirlies and minor hairlines, and there is a small strap change mark on the upper left lug. Rear of the lugs show some minor strap change marks.
